knit/lab/shetland ruffles in the round

A colorful skinny scarf with an undulating eyelet pattern, designed to add a dash of color and pattern to a plain outfit. The stitch pattern is a variation on my Shetland Ruffles pattern.

Knit in the round on a 40cm/15.75in 3.25mm/US3 circular needle with approximately 175g/735m/810yds of Schoppelwolle Crazy Zauberball yarn in the Tapetenwechsel (Change of Scenery) colorway.

Dimensions: approximately 70in/180cm long by 5.5in/14cm wide

Gauge: approximately 32sts & 26 rows = 4ins/10cm in lace pattern.

Shetland Ruffles in the Round is also available as a bundle with the original Shetland Ruffles for $10.00 (regular price $14.00). Use the code Ruffles at checkout or click here to add the bundle to your cart. (Previous purchases of Shetland Ruffles count towards the bundle!)The scarf requires approximately one and three quarter balls of yarn. The pattern can also be worked with leftovers of various Zauberball Crazy colorways and/or combinations of different yarns.

It’s a bit difficult to block: I usually use lengths of yarn pinned taut to get straight edges, but in this case found it difficult to prevent the lengths of yarn from tangling inside the scarf. So instead I used two lengths of plastic-coated gardening wire to block the sides as straight as possible.

The pdf contains a chart and a written pattern, notes, instructions and photos.
