An intermediate lace pattern inspired by Aran knots and bobbles.

All rows are knit, with yarn overs & decreases on most rows. The “bobbles” are formed using triple yarn overs. The end and center knots can be extended to make a longer stole.

The pdf contains charts for the main design, and a variation shown on right.

The sample was made with Elann Baby Lace Merino on 2.25mm/US 1 needles.

Yardage: Approx. 800-900 yards (730-820 metres), 1.5 skeins.
Finished dimensions: 16x50 in (41x127cm). (Blocked dimensions were a couple of inches bigger, but it “shrank” to this size when unpinned - I have heard that this is a feature of Merino wool).
