This understated pattern was inspired by seaside

walks, and the hypnotic effect of calm waters.

It is named after Sandycove, a historic area south of Dublin with a beach, a tower and views of the bay.

 

Knit on 5mm/US8 needles with approximately

1060yds/4 skeins of Brooklyn Tweed Loft,

color Faded Quilt.

Finished Dimensions:

26.25in/66.5cm wide and 70.5in/179cm long

 

The pdf also includes instructions for a narrower version requiring 785yds/718m/3 skeins of yarn, 19.5in/49.5cm wide and 70.5in/179cm long

 

Gauge: 14sts & 22 rows = 4” in stockinette stitch after blocking
