Dabberlocks is a type of seaweed with large fronds, a distinct midrib and wavy margins, known in Ireland as Láir or Láracha.

 

Knit on 5mm/US8 needles using four balls, 200g/1422yds/1300m of Schoppel Wolle Edition 6

Color 2630 Regenbogenflecken/Rainbow Spots

 

The shawl can be blocked or left unblocked.

 

Dimensions after blocking: 72ins/184cm by 33ins/86cm

 

Gauge after blocking: approximately 23 stitches and 15 rows = 4ins/10cm in pattern

 

This is a moderately difficult lace pattern with plain WS rows.
