A collection of six relatively easy patterns featuring lace knitting, stranding, intarsia and stacked decreases.
Some knitters think that all my patterns 
are too difficult to knit because of their crazy combinations of techniques and multiple colors! However many of them are actually very accessible for those who have acquired the basic skills of the craft. The patterns in this collection are at the easier end of the scale. Maybe not the easiest in the world - a couple of them require some initial learning and a degree of concentration - but they tend to stick to just one technique and one working yarn (apart from the Colorwork Swatches - see below).
Easy Seas and Feather & Fan Crescent are lace patterns with basic increases and decreases.
Jelly Rolls has ridges of stocking stitch and reverse stocking stitch transformed into fluid curves by simple arrangements of increases and decreases. Originally knit with lots of different colors of yarn spliced together, it can also be made with self-striping yarns (for example Zauberball Crazy) so you don’t have to worry about splicing!
Tokyo Bubbles features dropped stitches and includes a photototorial to introduce the technique.
Ernst Ludwig is a lace pattern with stacked decreases; the stacked decreases are a little bit challenging, but once you have mastered the technique, the pattern is easily memorizable. A phototutorial is included to help with the stacked decreases.
Finally, knit/lab Colorwork Swatches is an introduction to various colorwork ideas, with techniques including stranding, intarsia, lace knitting and beading, designed to prepare you for more complex patterns like Sari and Renaissance Stripes.
