A small crescent shawl with a handcrafted ethnic look. Inspired by flowers, it can be worked in a muted palette or a riot of colors!
It’s a challenging knit with lace stitches on RS and WS rows, stranding, intarsia, and long multicolored rows.
Some details of the final pattern are slightly different from the version pictured.
Knit mainly on 3.25mm/US3 needles with approximately 140g/650m/700yds of Jamieson & Smith 2Ply Jumper weight yarn.
MC is Red 093, stranding CC shades are FC22 deep pink, 283 mid pink and FC6 light pink.
The intarsia sections are worked in a wide selection of harmonising shades.

I did not keep track of stranding yardages as I was working from a cone and full balls of yarn.
2.25mm/US1 and 2.75mm/US2 for CO & first few charts, 3.25mm/US3 for most of the shawl,
and 5mm/US8 for BO with stretchy edge
