A summery, 1970’s inspired crescent knit on 2.75/3/3.25/5mm US2/2.5/3/8 needles with approximately 150g/630m/690yds of Jamieson's of Shetland Spindrift yarn in a variety of colors. The bubbles are created with elongated stitches.
It's an easy knit with a ten row repeat worked on increasingly bigger needles to create the crescent shape. In the sample shawl shown, the color is changed every five rows to enhance the bubble pattern. The pattern can be worked in variegated or self striping yarn for a more random color distribution, or in a plain color or gradation for a more subtle look.
Dimensions: approximately 62in/160cm across by 27in/68cm deep
